Downstream Strategies provides a number of services to help clients understand and evaluate wetland resources. We catalog and evaluate background and offsite data, and we conduct intensive surveys of amphibians, avian species, and vegetation.

Jurisdictional wetlands are mapped with global positioning systems and quantified and mapped using GIS. The resulting data can be used to determine required mitigation measures or restoration and preservation opportunities. Biological surveys allow us to quantify and track trends, because nearby species can indicate human-induced impairment to wetlands. |
